A quiet village in Akrotiri Peninsula
Stavros is located right on the tip of the peninsula of Akrotiri in a beautiful bay at a distance of 14 km from Chania. It came to light thanks to the famous scenes of the film "Zorbas the Greek".
The most wonderful element of Stavros is its famous beach: a narrow line of sand, dominated by a huge rock, the famous background in the film "Zorba the Greek". Stavros area is 25 minutes away from Chania International Airport and 35 minutes from the port of Souda. There is frequently bus (six times a day) to Stavros from the center of Chania.
