Sfinari village

The village Sfinari, is a small and traditional village, in a beautiful gulf, offering unique views.

It is located in the western part of Crete, between the crystal blue beach of Falasarna and the shallow turquoise lagoon of Elafonisi. If you choose to stay in a villa in Sfinari, you will enjoy one of the most magical sunsets that you have ever seen.

The main village is not on the beach, but a little bit more up to the hill. Down in the bay, there are also a couple of taverns. The beach has not only sand, but also pebbles and you will enjoy relaxation and tranquility, as it is really remote.

The route towards Sfinari is a spectacular one with beautiful views from up to the mountains, down to the shores. The road is well acessible, though can get quite narrow from time to time. Since you're driving along cliffs most of the time. it's advisable to take your time and drive slowly.
